2 Day / 2 Nights Horseshoe Bend to Back Run Creek

Trip Summary

Drive in and camp, then the next morning @ 9AM get picked up from the Back Run Campground and get shuttled to the Horseshoe Bend boat landing to launch for your 2 day paddle back to where your cars are parked. Features 24.5 mile trip over 2 days with great rapids and scenery.

Arrival Time
This trip arrives for camping the night before the river trip starts at 9AM. That camping reservation the night before will be sent separately with check in any time after 3PM the night before.

Day 1: Arrive in afternoon or evening and set up camp.
Day 2: 9AM Pick up from campground and shuttle to Horseshoe Bend to paddle Arcadia campground for a 15 river mile full day paddle. If you are paddling by 10 AM, most groups are at the campsite by 4 to 5 PM. You will need to bring all your camping gear with you.
Day 3: Get up, and launch at your leisure and paddle 9.5 miles to Back Run Creek campground. Most groups can paddle this 9.5 mile section in 3 to 4 hours. Trip ends back at Back Run Creek outpost where your cars are parked.

Optional Add On: Add camping the last night at Back Run Creek campground for an additional $12.00 per person per night.

Campground Pick Up Time: 9AM ONLY (full day paddle, must get an early start for this trip).
